Job summary

AutoRx Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time Service Advisor to run our front counter. You will greet customers, write repair orders, capture the real concern, and translate inspections into accurate estimates for customers.

You’ll update customers, coordinate with technicians and parts, and help keep the shop schedule on track. The role offers $18–$25/hr base pay plus commission, with a Monday–Friday schedule and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must have customer-facing experience, ideally at an auto repair shop or dealership service counter.
• Clear, confident communication in person and on the phone.
• Organized and capable of handling several vehicles and customers at once.
• Nice to have bilingual English/Spanish; experience with a shop management system; ASE C1 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the front counter and document their concerns.
• Write the repair order and capture the real concern from the customer.
• Turn the technician's inspection into an easy-to-understand estimate.
• Present work to customers honestly and without pressure.
• Update customers on progress and manage expectations against promised times.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep the board moving and schedules on track.

You'll keep the board moving by updating customers, coordinating with the technicians and parts, and keeping promise times.Pay is an hourly base of $18–$25/hr plus commission on the work you sell, so your income grows with the shop.
