Job summary

Bob Brown Buick GMC is seeking a Service Advisor in Ankeny, IA, to coordinate service appointments and vehicle repairs, while ensuring high customer satisfaction and maximizing department profitability.

You will report to the Service Manager and work in a state-of-the-art environment with diagnostic technology, providing top-notch customer support and promoting parts and accessories.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a service advisor or service writer.
• Candidates must possess above-average phone and communication skills.
• Positive, upbeat attitude and willingness to advise clients on vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Excellent follow-up and follow-through to ensure client satisfaction.
• Ability to evolve and adapt to changing business needs.
• Prior GM experience not required but a plus.
• Prior CDK experience a plus.
• Advisor background in ExcellentCSI a plus.

Responsibilities

• Making appointments, processing repair orders, quotes and invoices.
• Providing customer support via phone and face-to-face at the dealership.
• Qualifying customer problems and logging them for technicians to review.
• Ensuring customer approval for all remedial work to be carried out.
• Promoting our range of vehicle parts and accessories.
• Internal coordination of service work to adhere to commitments made to customers.
• Estimating costs and time for work to be carried out, and maintaining customer contact to ensure smooth delivery of vehicle.

Compensation

• This position pays a semi-monthly draw and a commission of sales. Successful candidates can expect $70,000 - $100,000 annually.

Qualifications
