Job summary

Twin City Hyundai is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, listen to needs, and schedule appointments. You will obtain vehicle information, report symptoms, and help determine maintenance based on age and history.

The role requires detailing labor and parts estimates, updating customers during the day, and clearly explaining all charges on final invoices. This position offers growth in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Requirements include dealership experience and the ability to identify problems quickly.
• Knowledge of automobiles and a proven record of customer satisfaction are essential.
• Past experience as a service advisor or related role is preferred.
• Candidates should be energetic, honest, and eager for a long-term career.
• Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new programs are required.

Responsibilities

Service Advisor

The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include greeting customers, listening to their needs, and scheduling appointments as needed. They may also set up loaner cars and verify insurance before maintenance is scheduled.

Service Advisor Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly

• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Establish follow up time
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers

Service Advisor Requirements

• Previous experience at a dealership is a plus
• Ability to identify the problem quickly
• Knowledge of automobiles
• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
• Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant
• Very energetic personality
• A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
• Personal and professional integrity
• Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• Minimum of 1 year in service department
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
