Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe in Charleston, SC is seeking friendly servers to deliver an exceptional brunch experience to every guest. Your primary objective is to embody our brunch lifestyle and make guests feel valued with a little lagniappe.

You should communicate clearly, handle money and operate a POS system, and be able to stand for long shifts while safely lifting trays. We offer growth opportunities, paid time off, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests.
• Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures.
• Possess basic math skills and can handle money and operate a POS system.
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
• Able to lift and maneuver trays weighing up to 20–25 lbs.

Job Summary:

Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to embody that brunch life and give our guests a little lagniappe to create those raving Ruby fans!

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25lbs
