Job summary

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group in Baton Rouge is seeking a friendly server to deliver an exceptional brunch experience. You will embody the brunch life, greet guests, take orders, and ensure timely, attentive service while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and POS transactions.

The role offers days-only scheduling with opportunities for growth and pay increases, plus comprehensive medical/dental benefits and Paid Time Off.

Qualifications

• Friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately.
• Ability to stand for long shifts (up to 10 hours) and safely lift 20–25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take orders with a friendly, upbeat approach.
• Provide prompt service to ensure a smooth dining experience for all guests.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and support other team members as needed.

Job Summary:

Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to embody that brunch life and give our guests a little lagniappe to create those raving Ruby fans!

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!

Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests

Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions

Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point-of-sale system

Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)

Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25lbs
