Job summary

Saicon is seeking a hands-on technician/engineer to support Server CPU post-silicon validation, focusing on high-speed IO and PCIe/CXL domains. You will work with validation engineers on test execution, troubleshooting, and platform setup.

The role involves configuring lab hardware, updating firmware, running weekly regression tests, and maintaining lab systems. Strong English communication and scripting ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with server CPU platforms and lab chassis validation.
• Experience with Windows Server, Ubuntu or RedHat.
• Strong English communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Set up and reconfigure validation lab; attach PCIe/CXL cards and devices.
• Install backplanes, risers, interposers and cooling; install CPU in sockets.
• Configure PCIe/CXL protocol analyzers for Gen1–Gen6 speeds.
• Maintain lab computers and hosts; perform BIOS and firmware updates (BIOS, PCIe/CXL, BMC, FPGA).
• Execute weekly regression testing and report progress.
