Job summary

Koelsch Communities is seeking a part-time server to provide meal service and front-of-house support in a senior living community. The evening shift runs 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM, with one Sunday brunch shift per month from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Who You Are

You enjoy providing outstanding customer service to residents. This role provides meal service and assists with other front-of-house tasks in the community.

What You'll Do

• Prepare dining room tables and ensure dining room cleanliness
• Protect establishments and residents by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
• Greet residents and families
• Assist residents select food and beverages by presenting menu, making suggestions and explaining chefs' daily specials
• Interact with residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative mannerAdhere to grooming and presentation standards consistently, maintain clean uniform at all times
• Assist with special events as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Positive impersonal skills are required
• A food handler's card is required
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift 15 pounds
• Customer service experience
• Must be drug free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
