Koelsch Communities seeks a personable server to join the Culinary Department in our community in Kirkland, WA. This full-time/part-time position offers a competitive hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and more.

Responsibilities include setting tables, greeting residents, presenting menus, assisting with meal service, and supporting event duties. Must have food handler's card, basic math, ability to lift 15 pounds, and pass background checks.

We are seeking a personable and attentive server to join our Culinary Department at Madison House!

Full-time and Part-time opportunities!

Earn between $19 and $19.50/hour, dependent on experience!

Who you are:

You enjoy providing outstanding customer service to residents. This role provides meal service and assists with other front-of-house tasks in the community.

What you'll do:

• Prepare dining room tables and ensure dining room cleanliness
• Protect establishments and residents by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
• Greet residents and families
• Assist residents select food and beverages by presenting menu, making suggestions and explaining chefs’ daily specials
• Interact with residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner
• Adhere to grooming and presentation standards consistently, maintain clean uniform at all times
• Assist with special events as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Positive impersonal skills are required
• A food handler's card is required
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift 15 pounds
• Must be drug free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
