Job summary

Forefront is seeking a motivated dining services associate in Billings, MT to support daily meal service for residents. You will set up dining areas, assist with food preparation, deliver meal carts, monitor temperatures, and maintain clean, sanitized kitchen and dining spaces in accordance with safety guidelines.

The role requires basic food preparation knowledge, strong sanitation practices, and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dining Area Setup and Meal Service: Set up dining areas and trays for meal services, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines and residents' dietary needs.
• Assist cook/supervisor with food preparation and service following procedures and regulations.
• Deliver residents' meal carts and set/clean dining areas as required.
• Record refrigerator temperatures accurately; maintain cleanliness and stock as needed.
• Wash and store dishes; uphold overall sanitation and maintenance of the kitchen.
• Follow Federal, State, and Community rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Dining Area Setup and Meal Service You will be responsible for setting up the dining area and trays for meal services, adhering to food safety guidelines, and following dietary restrictions based on residents' needs.


• Assisting cook/supervisor with food preparation and service using specific procedures, following guidelines, and regulations.


• Delivering residents' meal carts, and setting and cleaning assigned dining area(s) to serve residents.


• Accurately recording temperatures on refrigerators; clean and stock as needed.


• Wash and store dishes; adhering to overall sanitation and maintenance of the kitchen.


• Knowledgeable of Federal, State, and Community rules, regulations, policies and procedures.


• Acting in conformance with all facility and departmental policies and procedures including those relating to Human Resources, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Health and Safety regulations, Compliance requirements, Patient Rights, Confidentiality, and HIPAA.


• Responsible for acting in conformance with accrediting agency standards.


• Attends department meetings as required.


• Demonstrates accountability to accept responsibility for personal/professional growth and any required certifications/licenses, if applicable.


• Completes mandatory training and competencies annually.

This is an hourly position, expected hours include days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays.
