Job summary

Pebble Beach Company seeks an In-Room Dining Server to provide efficient food and beverage service to hotel guests in rooms and residences at Pebble Beach. You will assemble orders, deliver with care, and maintain a clean, organized work area while following safety and RBS guidelines.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to carry trays, strong math and communication skills, and the flexibility to work varied shifts on a team. Restaurant service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble entrée, beverage, condiments, glassware on cart to minimize spills.

• Prepare and deliver amenities daily and deliver ice on request.
• Assist guest with pouring coffee and uncorking wine.
• Pick up dirty dishes and maintain a clean work area.
• Know room locations and best routes for deliveries.
• Report problems to management to ensure guest satisfaction.

The In-Room Dining Server provides efficient food and beverage service to hotel guests in their rooms and to the residences.

• Assemble entrée, beverage, condiments, glassware, silverware on cart to minimize spilling and shifting.


• Perform all side work duties as assigned on daily side work form.


• Carry orders on trays, push carts or drive EZ-Go carts in order to deliver food quickly.


• Prepare and deliver amenities daily.


• Deliver ice to guest rooms upon request.


• Set-up and clean-up after hospitality functions and bars in guest rooms as needed.


• Assist guest with pouring coffee and uncorking wine.


• Pick-up dirty dishes from the guest room. Remove dirty dishes from tray and bus used items in kitchen.


• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.


• Know the location of all rooms and town houses, as well as the best route for deliveries.


• Report any problems to management, to ensure guest satisfaction and the protection of company property.


• Answer telephone and record food and beverage orders.


• Knows models and integrates Pebble Beach Company culture (mission, values, and standards).


• Comply with the Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.

Absolutely Required Skills:

• Ability to carry trays, push carts over uneven ground for long distances, quickly and without spilling contents.
