Alterra is seeking a Sky House server to deliver exceptional guest experiences in our Schweitzer dining program. You will be the main link between kitchen and guests, delivering food and drinks and maintaining an inviting dining area.
Typical shift is 9:00am–4:00pm with open weekend/holiday hours. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and have basic computer skills on a Squirrel POS.

Position Summary :
A Sky House server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience. They act as the main point of contact between the kitchen and the customer, maintaining a clean and organized dining area while adhering to food safety and service standards. The server is our primary salesperson therefore, thorough knowledge of our menus is critical.
Typical shift is 9:00am-4:00pm and must have open availability during weekends and holidays.
License/Certifications- Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Training Certificate, we will help you acquire.
Technical- Basic computer knowledge and comfortable with a computer based point of sale (Squirrel is our current system).
Physical Capabilities- Able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Will lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally. Ability to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level is preferred. Exposed to ice/snow coming to and from work.
Additional- Strong attention to detail. Must be capable of managing and performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Minimum education required- English reading, writing and communication; plus basic math.
Minimum time in related position- Minimum 6 month serving experience; wine knowledge preferred with demonstrated competence.
