Alterra Mountain Company seeks a Sky House Busser/Host at Schweitzer. This seasonal role greets guests, seats them, and coordinates reservations to ensure a smooth dining experience. You will assist with clearing and resetting tables, refilling waters, and maintaining cleanliness across The Nest & Red Hawk Café areas.

Position Summary:

The Sky House Busser/Host is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for greeting and seating them in a friendly and efficient manner. They manage reservations, waitlists, and coordinate seating flow to ensure smooth restaurant operations and a positive guest experience. Additionally they support the dining room team by clearing and resetting tables, refilling water, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant. They help ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for guests.

Typical shift is 10:00am-4:00pm and must have open availability during weekends and holidays.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:

• Assist cashiers by retrieving and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins.
• Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards.
• Remove used plates, glasses, utensils from table after customers are done eating.
• Clean up water spills, food stains and debris from tables.
• Take out trash and recycling.
• Refilling paper napkins, condiments, salt, and pepper shakers.
• Cleaning and bussing both The Nest & Red Hawk Café dining area throughout the shift.
• Help cashiers with side work.

Specific Job Skills:

License/Certifications - None

Technical - None

Physical Capabilities - Able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Will lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally. Ability to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level is preferred. Exposed to ice/snow coming to and from work.

Additional - Strong attention to detail. Must be capable of managing and performing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education/Related Experience:

Minimum education required - English reading, writing and communication; plus basic math.
