Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Computer Repair Technician. This position will require the candidate to have some knowledge of computer components.

Role and Responsibilities

• Disassembles machines to examine parts, for wear or defects, using hand or power tools and measuring devices

  Repairs, adjusts, or replaces electrical or mechanical components or parts, using hand tools, or power tools as requested by technician

  Installs and configures new equipment, including operating software or peripheral equipment

  Reassembles machines after making repairs or replacing parts

  Identifies cosmetics defects and communicates any discrepancies to technician

  Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department

  May perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  Basic familiarity with computer use required

  Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware

  1 year of assembly/disassembly experience preferred with laptop, computer and/or technology component repair, preferred

  Experience using hand power tools preferred

  Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred

  Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision

  Intermediate English abilities required

  Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies

  Excellent time-management skills

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
• Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 10 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, bending, and twisting
• Occasional stooping or crouching
• Use of small hand tools
