Job summary

CSAT Solutions LP is seeking a Computer Repair Technician to inspect and repair computers, disassemble machines, replace components, and install/configure equipment. The role requires basic hardware knowledge and the ability to follow documented procedures in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

The candidate should have a high school diploma (preferred), familiarity with computer use, and will work under supervision with occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic familiarity with computer use.
• Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware.
• 1 year of assembly/disassembly experience preferred with laptop, computer and/or technology component repair.
• Experience using hand power tools preferred.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision.
• Intermediate English abilities required.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies.
• Excellent time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles machines to examine parts, for wear or defects, using hand or power tools and measuring devices
• Repairs, adjusts, or replaces electrical or mechanical components or parts, using hand tools, or power tools as requested by technician
• Installs and configures new equipment, including operating software or peripheral equipment
• Reassembles machines after making repairs or replacing parts
• Identifies cosmetics defects and communicates any discrepancies to technician
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• May perform other duties as assigned
