Job summary

CSAT Solutions LP seeks a Computer Repair Lead to oversee a repair group, guide tasks, and ensure quality. You will monitor output, mentor teammates, and maintain tool inventories while following documented procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years repairing or troubleshooting computers or electronics, strong hardware knowledge, and experience with hand tools. ISO 9001 emphasis and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years leading others preferred.
• 2+ years repairing or troubleshooting computers/electronics.
• Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware.
• Experience using hand power tools required.
• Proficient English oral and written communication.
• Basic Excel knowledge and ability to document work.
• Ability to follow procedures and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide work instructions to the team.
• Monitor group output against performance expectations.
• Provide feedback to supervisor on performance and policy compliance.
• Assist team members with tasks and training as needed.
• Learn and apply new processes and procedures.
• Inventory repair line tools daily and place orders as needed.
• Audit processes and report findings to manager.
• Communicate status of units in repair to manager.
• Ensure adherence to quality systems and ISO 9001 requirements.
• May diagnose customer-reported problems and perform other duties.

CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Computer Repair Lead.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provides work instructions to other employees with the group
• Monitors work output of the group against performance expectations
• Provides feedback to supervisor or manager on group performance and compliance to company policies and procedures
• Assists team members with tasks and training as needed
• Learns and uses new processes and procedures
• Conducts inventory of repair line tools daily to assess equipment functionality and supplies; places order as needed
• Conducts audits of processes and procedures and reports the findings to manager
• Communicates the status of parts and units being processed to manager
• Interacts with various internal groups as necessary to report status of units in repair process
• Ensures processes for units are followed
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• May conduct diagnosis of problems according to customer complaint
• May perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year or more of experience leading others preferred
• Computer training diploma or 2-year degree in related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience assembling/disassembling, repairing or troubleshooting computers or electronics
• Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware
• Experience using hand power tools required
• Proficient English abilities required
• Email and written messaging with basic Excel knowledge
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with general supervision
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
• Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 10 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, bending, and twisting
• Occasional stooping or crouching
• Use of small hand tools
