Desert Mountain Club in North Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a prestigious private club setting. You will master menu and beverage knowledge, tailor service to guest tastes, and work as part of a collaborative food & beverage team.

Qualified candidates have prior serving experience in full-service restaurants; high-end club or resort experience is a plus. Shifts include lunch, dinner, and varied hours across weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

• Utilize name recognition and personalized service to create raving fans.
• Follow the three steps of service: warm welcome, friendly service, fond farewell.
• Answer questions about restaurant and club events; direct feedback to management.

Join the Food & Beverage team at Desert Mountain Club, one of the largest and most beautiful private country clubs in North America, as a Server!

Desert Mountain Club has moved from a gratuity-based wage structure to a higher flat-dollar wage structure for all hourly Food & Beverage positions. Our servers will start at $22 per hour or more depending on experience. This is a guaranteed year-round wage, based on hours worked, without fluctuations in pay due to business levels or seasonality. You will also have the opportunity to advance in pay and position based on merit and performance through annual merit increases and the career ladder (various levels in each position based on performance, skills, and knowledge, i.e., Server 1, Server 2, etc.)

Desert Mountain Club features seven signature golf courses (six of which are Jack Nicklaus & an all-new par 54 championship course), seven distinctive clubhouses – each with its own unique restaurant plus banquets, state-of-the-art fitness center, swim and tennis facility, and spa. Starting Rate: $22.00 per/hr or higher based on experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a memorable guest experience by providing exceptional service and curating the dining experience. This includes maintaining a strong knowledge and understanding of menu items and pairings and tailoring the food and beverage experience to their tastes, executing service from greeting the table to providing the check, all in a team setting.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic. Prior serving experience in a full-service restaurant is required. Prior high-end club or resort experience preferred.

• The Restaurant is open for Lunch, and Dinner, and shifts will vary within the hours of (9:00 am – 11:00 pm), weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

• Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage menu items to include cocktails, beer, and wine.
• Maintain a high-level dining experience with the mindset that we’re a family serving family.
• Utilize name recognition and personalized service in order to maintain raving fans.
• Practice three steps of service – warm welcome, friendly service, and fond farewell.
• Communicate and answer questions regarding restaurant and club events, mountain wide in a professional and courteous manner. Direct feedback, questions, and comments to appropriate manager or department.
• Maintain clean service areas, professional appearance of all clubhouse facilities.
• Proactively assist other team members and fellow servers, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Required to be on feet for long periods of time.
• Required to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
