Brooklyn Pickle Sandwich Shop in Raleigh, NC is hiring servers for part-time roles. You will greet customers, build sandwiches, take orders, and keep a clean, efficient workstation while handling cash and POS transactions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner at the counter
• Prepare and build made-to-order sandwiches, subs, and deli items with speed and accuracy
• Take customer orders in-person and ensure order accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift
• Handle cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all timesRestock ingredients, condiments, and supplies as needed

Requirements:

Brooklyn Pickle Sandwich Shop (est. 1975), is one of Central New York's iconic sandwich shops known for piling it high and keeping it delicious. Customers keep coming back for the bold flavors, generous portions, and the kind of friendly service that feels like home. Our team members enjoy a fun, supportive work environment where good food and good people come together every day.

In 2023, Brooklyn Pickle began opening in North Carolina including Southern Pines, Raleigh and Charlotte with more locations coming soon! We are already a local favorite stop for fresh, delicious sandwiches, salads and homemade daily specials, served with a friendly smile.

Schedule:

Operational hours are Mon - Sat: 10 AM to 8 PM and Sun: 11 AM to 3 PM. We are currently seeking part-time candidates and offer flexible scheduling with cross-training to potentially grow into full-time positions. Typical shifts:

• AM: starts between 8 am to 11 am and ends between 3-4 pm
• PM: from 3 to 4 pm to close (about 8:45 to complete all closing tasks)

Pay:

$13–$16/hour, based on experience (plus tips and bonuses)
