Job summary

Pickleman’s Gourmet Café in Omaha, NE is hiring team members to prepare fast, fresh sandwiches, pizzas and salads while providing friendly customer service. You will greet customers, take orders, operate the cash register, process payments, and help maintain a spotless dining area.

The position offers flexible scheduling, same-day hiring, opportunities for growth, and a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with potential to pick up hours at other locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced food service preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion control.
• Able to maintain sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Make fast, accurate sandwiches, salads and pizzas.
• Follow portion sizes, recipes, and procedures.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness including tables, floors, and restrooms.
• Greet customers, take orders, and handle payments.
• Take phone orders and complete delivery tickets.
• Keep uniforms and appearance consistent with dress code.
• Assist with other duties and adhere to company policies.

Pay rate: $15-$16 + tips

Pickleman’s Gourmet Café prepares fresh toasted sandwiches, pizza, soups and chopped salads in the heart of the USA. Our food is always prepared with quality in mind with responsibly sourced products. We use the freshest ingredients available and treat each order with the utmost care. Duties and Responsibilities

• Makes fast, accurate and consistent sandwiches, salads, and pizzas
• Complies with all portion sizes, recipes, systems and procedures
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including all tables, floors, beverage station and restrooms etc.
• Greets customers, takes orders, operates a cash register, collects payments from customer and makes change
• Executes genuine greetings and farewells
• Takes telephone orders and completes delivery tickets
• Fills out systems and procedures with 100% accuracy and integrity
• Maintains professional appearance at all times in compliance with the Pickleman’s dress code
• Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments
• Performs other related duties as required
