Job summary

Brooklyn Pickle is hiring a Sandwich Maker at our Raleigh location to deliver quick, friendly service with accuracy and care. You will work closely with a Manager and Trainers to follow our standards for speed, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have prior restaurant or customer service experience, reliable transportation, and a positive team attitude. This role offers flexible weekend scheduling, potential growth, and employee meal benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, accurate service to customers.
• Maintain fast-paced service during peak hours.
• Keep stations clean, stocked, and compliant with health standards.
• Open AM shifts with fully prepared stations.
• Close PM shifts with restocking and clean-up tasks.
• Answer menu questions and address customer concerns gracefully.
• Assist with light food prep and other operational tasks.

NOW HIRING for Brooklyn Pickle Sandwich Shop (est. 1975), one of Central New York's iconic sandwich shops now growing in North Carolina, including our Raleigh location. We're a favorite destination for fresh, craveable, quick made-to-order meals and desserts.

We are looking for friendly teammates who love freshly prepared food and serving guests! Our Sandwich Makers will work closely with our Manager and Trainers to deliver on our team mission:

Schedule:

Operational hours are Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM and we are very flexible with scheduling. We are currently seeking PART TIME candidates that have full weekend availability. We offer flexible scheduling with cross-training to potentially grow into full-time positions. Typical shifts:

• AM: starts between 8 am to 11 am and ends between 3-4 pm


• PM: from 3 to 4 pm to close (about 8:45 to complete all closing tasks)

Pay:

$13–$16/hour, based on experience (plus tips and bonuses)

What you'll do:

As an excellent Sandwich Maker, you will work with the Manager and Trainers to help support smooth, daily operations to meet company standards for:

• Customer service — timely greeting, service speed & order accuracy


• Timeliness — pace during AND after rush


• Cleanliness — maintain clean, organized, well-stocked service stations that comply with health department and food safety standards


• AM opening procedures — fully stocked and ready on time


• PM closing procedures — restocking and cleanliness


• Answering menu questions accurately and addressing customer concerns with grace


• Light food prep and other operational support as needed

Brooklyn Pickle has five locations in New York and in 2023 began opening in North Carolina including Southern Pines, Raleigh and Charlotte. More locations will be coming soon!
