Rosa's Diner in Washington, DC is seeking a friendly server to create memorable dining experiences for guests. You will guide guests through the menu, provide recommendations, and deliver attentive service from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide attentive service throughout the dining experience.
• Take and enter food and beverage orders accurately.
• Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about items.
• Deliver orders promptly and ensure accuracy.
• Check in with guests and anticipate their needs.
• Maintain clean and properly set tables and service areas.
• Process guest checks and payments accurately.
• Communicate with kitchen and service TEAM members.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and customer service standards.
• Restock server stations and complete opening/closing duties.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their dining experience

• Provide knowledgeable recommendations and answer questions about menu items
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure orders are accurate
• Check in with guests throughout their meal and anticipate their needs
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables and service areas
• Process guest checks and payments accurately
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service TEAM members
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and customer service standards
• Restock server stations and complete assigned opening and closing duties
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times

Requirements

• Prior restaurant or food service experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate
• Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Knowledge of food safety and proper food-handling procedures
• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a TEAM
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent English communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak fluently

$17.00 per hour + tips
