Marquette Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton in downtown Minneapolis is seeking a Server to be the dining room’s MVP. You’ll greet guests, take orders, and deliver plates with a smile, turning visits into memorable experiences while following safety and company playbooks.

You’ll master the menu, guide guests on dietary needs and daily specials, and manage tables with grace, keeping areas clean and compliant with hygiene standards. This role emphasizes teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospitality or food & beverage service experience is a plus.
• Certifications like Alcohol Awareness and Food Handler's Card may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and take accurate orders, ensuring needs are met from start to finish.
• Know the menu inside out—ingredients, dietary needs, daily specials, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Deliver food and drinks quickly and accurately, paying attention to detail to keep orders correct.
• Juggle multiple tables with ease, maintain a clean and organized service area, and stay calm under pressure.
• Handle transactions accurately, close checks confidently, and follow all company and security policies.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the service area and assist with setup and resets.
• Stay energized, on your feet, and capable of lifting, bending, and moving throughout shifts.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Must obtain and maintain any required certifications (e.g., Alcohol Awareness, Food Handler’s Card) as per state regulations.
