Job summary

Marquette Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton in downtown Minneapolis is seeking a Kitchen Steward to keep our china, glass, and silver sparkling and to uphold sanitation standards. You will organize utensils and support the kitchen team to ensure a clean, orderly environment in every shift.

• Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate and select among alternative actions quickly and accurately.
• Ability to perform effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Capacity to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning dishes, scrubbing pots, sweeping floors, and taking out the trash—keeping the kitchen clean and fresh for the team.
• Replace all clean china, glass, and silver in their proper storage spots with care to avoid breakage.
• Be friendly and engage with guests and teammates, ready to handle any task with a positive attitude.
• Be reliable and trustworthy, representing the team with good character and sound judgment.

From scrubbing equipment to organizing utensils and ensuring food is stored and rotated just right, you're the guardian of cleanliness and order in our kitchen kingdom.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
