Genesis Hospitality is seeking a part-time Server for Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn in Lambertville, NJ. The role involves orchestrating food and beverage service for a station of tables and representing the face of the establishment.

Qualified candidates will have at least 4 years of fine dining experience, be creative and team-oriented, fluent in English, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn is seeking for experienced and team-oriented candidate for a part-time Server position. Candidate must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for orchestrating the food and beverage service for a station of tables and being the face of the establishment.
• Ability to develop rapport with guests, and offer a warm, efficient, and thoughtful service.
• Must possess a commanding knowledge and passion about food, wine, spirits, and service in general.
• Ability to execute the restaurant’s vision and philosophy.
• Ability to improvise and make impromptu decisions in accordance with the cycle of service and the restaurant’s policies and standards.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years fine dining restaurant experience preferred
• Must be creative, team-oriented, and self-motivated
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and time management skills
• Moderate physical efforts required: standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling, and pushing, lifting of weights up to 50 pounds
• Working conditions involve noise, heat, changes in temperature, kitchen elements, odors, moisture, etc.
• May be required to work additional hours as dictated by the workload and staffing
