Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation is seeking a Server Repair Tech to test, troubleshoot, and replace parts on servers sent for diagnosis and repair. You will document outcomes and collaborate with QC and motherboard teams in a warehouse environment.

The role requires basic server architecture knowledge, ability to assemble components, and familiarity with common brands. Reading and writing in English is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year repair depot experience preferred.
• Must read and write English.
• Experience with simple or repetitive component replacement (LCD/HDD).
• Knowledge of models such as ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, Apple, Acer.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and diagnose servers.
• Replace parts as needed.
• Conduct and analyze server stress tests.
• Document symptoms, test results, and parts replaced.
• Collaborate with motherboard repair, testing, QC, and inspections personnel.
• Provide back up for QC, inspection, and motherboard testing.
• Maintain parts consumption.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
