Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC in Naples, FL is seeking a Culinary Assistant to support dietary operations for our residents. You will assist with meal service, food preparation, and dining room setup in accordance with our policies and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have food service experience or hospitality background, can follow directions, and provide courteous Platinum Service to residents, guests, and staff as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Food service and/or hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Provide Platinum Service to residents, guests and staff.
• Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations and established policies.
• Assist in daily and scheduled cleaning duties.
• Set up meal trays, food carts and the dining room, as instructed.
• Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
• Set up and prepare food for the upcoming meal.
• Set up the menu for the upcoming meal.
• Assist with bussing tables during and after meals.
• Check meal trays for accuracy before distribution.
• Ensure appropriate equipment and utensils are provided with the resident's meal tray.
• Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas.
• Assist with the set up and refill of catering and/or buffet functions.
• Prepare and deliver snacks as instructed.
• Ensure that food and supplies for the next meal are readily available.
• Assist in food preparation as requested.
• Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed.
• Assist with cleaning the dining area and the backroom kitchen area as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Hours: 10am-1:30pm, 4pm-7pm

The Culinary Assistant plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established Culinary Operations policies and procedures.
