Job summary

Vivie in Minnesota is seeking a friendly Server to join our dining team. The position offers a part-time schedule with two shifts per day, weekend and holiday rotation, and a pay range of $15.10–$18.50/hour.

You will assist with seating, maintain cleanliness, and provide exceptional service to residents, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and effective communication. Prior dining or service experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Previous experience in dining services, food handling, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow emergency protocols.
• Proficient in English for effective communication with staff, clients, and visitors.
• Successful completion of a state-mandated background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide Exceptional Dining Service - Assist with seating, building positive relationships with residents and guests, and helping resident select their meals.
• Ensure Safety and Sanitation - Set and clear tables, arrange seating, and maintain the cleanliness and conditional of all flatware and glassware. Perform dishwashing and organize clean dishes in designated areas. Maintain dining and kitchen areas through vacuuming, sweeping, mopping while adhering to safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate Effectively - Proactively communicate with residents and team member.
• Other Duties as Assigned - Participate in special projects, assist in other areas of the building, and attend in-service training sessions and team meetings as required.

Part-time | 20 hours/pay period | 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. & 3:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. split shift | 3:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. | Includes every other weekend and holiday

Pay Range:

$15.10 - $18.50/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.
