Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is hiring a Server to provide food service to residents, family members and visitors. The role includes taking orders, entering them into the POS, and serving in a friendly, dignified manner within the dining area and kitchen.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided; candidates must be at least 16 with a work permit and be capable of meeting safety standards and health screening requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination/testing requirements and PPE usage may be required per regulatory guidelines.

• Accurately and professionally take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS (point of sale computer).
• Set up and break down (bus) tables.
• Assure compliance with all proper serving techniques/etiquette (e.g. serving from left, clearing used dishes between courses, etc.).
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour (depends on experience)
