DINING ROOM SERVER

The Tradition Senior Living is a Texas-based Luxury Senior Living organization committed to excellence in all we do to serve our residents. Since our inception, we have expanded to multiple locations in the Dallas, Houston, and Fort Worth areas. Each community offers a comprehensive continuum of care that includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.

We are currently seeking a Server at our Dallas - Prestonwood community. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely preparation of meals with a high-quality presentation. Prepare meals according to approved recipes and preparation guides. Assist with sanitation of the food service areas and the receiving and inventory of supplies and products. Maintain a safe, sanitary environment and follow regulatory guidelines. The Server reports directly to our Director of Dining who oversees day-to-day operations of the community's Food & Beverage department.

Responsibilities

• Cook quality food.
• Style, maintain quality and timeliness of meal service.
• Keep the kitchen and service areas clean.
• Ensure meal presentation is appealing and timely.
• Provide guest relations, interacting with residents/guests and communicating effectively.
• Maintain food production records, temperature logs, and cleaning schedules.
• Control inventory.

Required

• At least one year of experience cooking in a restaurant setting.
• Strong culinary skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant style service relating to meal preparation, service, and timing.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision‑making skills.
