Job summary

LPQ USA LLC in Washington, DC, is seeking team members to deliver warm, attentive hospitality across all guest interactions. You will take orders, enter them into Toast, and coordinate with the kitchen, while maintaining cleanliness and cash handling procedures.

The role offers opportunities to grow within Convive Brands across concepts like California Pizza Kitchen and Little Beet. Availability for a flexible schedule, plus benefits such as health coverage, PTO, and a 401k plan, are included.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with Toast POS is a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required.
• Cross-training in dining room and retail space preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Receive food and beverage orders, enter order into the POS, and follow up with the kitchen as necessary.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences provided by the guest.
• Maintain full knowledge of pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures; daily checklist and side work assignments.
• Organize money and receipts per the restaurant's cash handling policy.
• Keep all areas of the restaurant clean and organized by following cleaning checklists.
• Assist with setting up patio furniture and outdoor seating area maintenance if applicable.
