Job summary

Le Pain Quotidien is seeking team members for its New York locations who deliver warm, attentive hospitality and work across dining room and retail spaces. You will prepare drinks, manage to-go orders, and handle transactions with a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems; Toast a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule preferred but not required.
• Ability to be cross-trained in all dining room and retail areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout their visit.
• Prepare all drinks for retail and dining room, including batches for the retail counter.
• Bag, box, and arrange to-go food and pastry.
• Process sales transactions following cash handling policy.
• Keep pastry display neat and fully stocked throughout the day.
• Maintain restaurant areas clean and organized by following cleaning checklists.
• Answer phones with proper etiquette and take orders over the phone.
