Job summary

Le Pain Quotidien is hiring for a team member to deliver friendly, attentive service from start to finish of each guest visit. You will handle drinks, pastry prep, to-go packaging, and cash transactions with care in a warm, welcoming environment.

Applicants should have 1–3 months of restaurant exposure and basic POS experience; cross-training across dining room and retail areas is possible, with benefits including health coverage and 401(k) eligibility.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast, a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule preferred but not required.
• Cross-training in all dining room and retail spaces is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Prepare drinks for retail and dining room, including batches for the retail counter.
• Bag, box, and arrange to‑go food and pastries.
• Handle cash transactions according to policy.
• Maintain pastry displays and knowledge of menu items.
• Open, mid, and closing procedures with daily checklists and side work.
