Join a prestigious hotel team as a server, delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests. You'll ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, communication, and professionalism. This role requires teamwork and a commitment to excellence in a luxury environment.
Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests. Set tables according to event type and service standards. Answer questions about menu selections. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability. Relay additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Record transactions in the MICROS system at the time of order. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, etc., throughout the day. Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights. Present accurate checks to guests and process payments.
Follow all company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure a clean and professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop positive relationships with team members, support team goals, and respond to concerns appropriately. Adhere to quality standards. Verify information visually and accurately. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds alone and over 50 pounds with assistance. Use fine motor skills for handling objects. Navigate uneven surfaces, stairs, and ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.
