Job summary

801 Fish St Louis, part of 801 Restaurant Group, is hiring for part-time servers. This role requires upscale dining experience, passion for service and strong attention to detail. You must be 21+ and comfortable with beer, wine and spirits terminology.

Ideal candidates demonstrate hospitality, excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Evening shifts, weekends and some holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years, preferably 4 years of serving in upscale, fine dining.
• Advanced knowledge and terminology of beer, wine, and spirits is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Strong hospitality, communication and interpersonal skills.

If you have a passion for service, commitment to uncompromising quality and strong attention to detail, then we want to talk to you! Previous service experience in an upscale/fine dining restaurant is required.

Requirements & Expectations:

• Minimum of 2 years, but preferably at least 4 years of serving experience in an upscale, fine dining establishment.
• Advanced knowledge and terminology of beer, wine, and spirits is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, highly motivated professional with a strong sense of hospitality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a true passion for fine service, food and drink.
• Must have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and be open to learning new things.
• Ability to demonstrate hospitality, warmth, and expertise to guests and coworkers in a busy, sometimes fast-paced / high-stress environment.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively with both front of the house and back of the house team members in a loud environment.
• Available for evening shifts, any day of the week, including weekends and some holidays.
• Regular, predictable, reliable attendance is required.

Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Physical ability to work on your feet, alertly, for extended periods of time
• Ability to maintain balance of food and drink service trays
• Physical ability to frequently lift up to 30lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs
