Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade is seeking an hourly, part-time Event Server to support hotel banquet functions in Cleveland, OH. You will assist with food and beverage service, menu presentation, linen setup, and station design while maintaining a clean, sanitary event space.

The role requires enthusiasm for fast-paced service and a willingness to contribute to guest satisfaction. Located in a historic hotel with diverse events, this entry-level position offers exposure to hospitality

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage service preferred.
• Excellent guest service skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverage at hotel banquet functions.
• Present and describe menu offerings to guests.
• Assist with linen and table settings; contribute to table design.
• Support beverage service and station setup for events.
• Maintain banquet area cleanliness and sanitary conditions.
• Assist with room refreshes and overall event readiness.

Summary

Event servers are responsible for food and drink service at hotel banquet functions. They make sure function space visually appealing and present the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes and maintaining a sanitary environment.

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
