Job summary

Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to assist in overseeing the housekeeping area, public spaces and night cleaning. This role requires a solid understanding of housekeeping supplies, safety policies, and guest service excellence.

The position reports to the Executive Housekeeper and emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork with other departments, and delivering memorable experiences for guests, including VIPs and special guests in a historic hotel

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to manage VIP guests and diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the housekeeping area including public spaces and night cleaning.
• Ensure safety and security policies are followed.
• Support staff training, scheduling, and development.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and coordinate with other departments.

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the entire housekeeping area, to include public areas and night cleaning. This requires a solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars and will assure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed. Experience with turndown service, special needs of VIP Guests, foreign dignitaries, etc. is helpful. These responsibilities may also include staff training, development and scheduling. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will promote an atmosphere that insures customer and associate satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper and requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments and team members.
