Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation's Thompson Palm Springs is seeking On-Call Events/Banquet Servers to join the hotel’s Event Services team. You will ensure banquet spaces are prepared, service food and beverages, and assist with stations and guest experience.

Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. This nonexempt hourly role offers $16.90 per hour plus service charge, with pay based on experience and county guidelines.

Qualifications

Thompson Palm Springs Resort is now recruiting for On-Call Events/Banquet Servers to join the hotel’s Event Services team.

On-Call Events/Banquet Servers handle food and drink service for hotel banquet functions. They make sure the event space looks great and present the menu to guests. This includes setting up linens and tables, designing food stations, and serving drinks. Other tasks include general prep work, refreshing the room between sessions, and keeping everything clean.

This is a nonexempt (hourly) role. The budgeted rate for this role is $16.90, plus service charge. This is the hourly rate for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.
