Job summary

Thompson Palm Springs Resort is seeking an engaging and hospitality-driven Part-time, Seasonal Banquets Cook 2 (Intermediate) to join the Lola Rose, Grand Mezze team. This role manages assigned stations, delivers high-quality dishes, and supports the culinary team during peak events.

The position is non-exempt, pays $22.00 per hour, and runs through Memorial Day 2027 with potential extension based on business needs. Candidates should have a Food Handler’s Card and relevant kitchen experience.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s Card required.
• 3 years of previous line experience preferred.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred.
• Able to perform basic and intermediate cooking skills.
• Able to work multiple stations with moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, presentation standards, and production schedules.
• Maintain assigned station, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely service.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Minimize waste and properly store, label, and rotate food products.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
