Job summary

Thompson Palm Springs is seeking a hospitality-driven Seasonal Housekeeping Room Attendant (Full-time) to join our team. The position is temporary through Memorial Day 2027 with a budgeted hourly rate of $20.50.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, changing linens, replenishing amenities, and maintaining clean public areas while upholding hotel standards. Candidates should have prior cleaning experience and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest amenities and supplies.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and public areas as assigned.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Report lost and found items in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Housekeeping Room Attendantis responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms assigned. Previous cleaning experience as well as the ability to communicate is require. Additional responsibilities include:

This is a temporary position anticipated to continue through Memorial Day 2027. The assignment may end earlier or be extended based on business needs and does not create a guarantee of employment for any specific duration.

This is a nonexempt (hourly) role. The budgeted rate for this role is $20.50.This is the hourly rate for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.
