Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Deep understanding of CPU microarchitecture and performance bottlenecks.
• Experience enabling and debugging server workloads in Linux.
• Hands-on with performance analysis and profiling tools.

Responsibilities

• Define performance methodologies, metrics, and KPI frameworks.
• Conduct hardware/software sensitivity studies.
• Perform bottleneck analysis across cores, caches, memory, I/O.
• Use profiling and PMU tools to capture hotspots, CPI breakdowns.
• Build models for workload behavior and projection.
• Communicate findings to technical and executive stakeholders.
