Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's with relevant field required or 2+ years for Bachelor's track.
• Deep understanding of CPU microarchitecture, pipelines, caches, memory subsystems.
• Strong OS/Compiler behavior knowledge and performance optimization experience.
• Hands-on experience with performance analysis and profiling tools.
• Experience enabling and debugging server workloads in Linux.

Responsibilities

• Define performance methodologies, metrics, and KPI frameworks.
• Conduct hardware/software sensitivity studies.
• Perform bottleneck analysis across CPU cores, cache, memory, on-chip fabric and I/O.
• Use profiling and PMU tools to capture hotspots, CPI, memory behavior, and stalls.
• Build analytical models for workload behavior and performance projections.
• Identify optimization opportunities and drive cross-functional execution.
