Job summary

Golden Oaks is seeking a dedicated Server/Cook to prepare meals for residents and facility staff, while guiding dietary aides and dishwashers on food safety and sanitation standards. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to regulatory requirements in a long-term care setting.

You will contribute to meal preparation, serve meals as directed, and support equipment safety and routine cleaning tasks. The position includes a rotating shift with weekends, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Customer service-oriented attitude.
• Experience as a short-order cook is helpful.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of meals as directed.
• Adhere to Federal and State long-term care regulations for food safety and sanitation.
• Keep the kitchen and work areas clean by washing and cleaning equipment and utensils, and performing other scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Safely operate and assess the condition of food service equipment.
• Perform other duties or assignments as directed by the Dietary Manager.
