Job summary

Companion Healthcare in Stillwater, OK is seeking a dedicated Server/Cook to prepare delicious meals for residents and staff. You will guide dietary aides and dishwashers to ensure food safety and sanitation regulations are followed.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, operating kitchen equipment, and supporting the Dietary Manager. Shift is rotating schedule including weekends; competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a short-order cook is helpful.
• Customer service-oriented attitude
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of meals as directed
• Adhere to Federal and State long-term care regulations for food safety and sanitation, and follow all Dietary Department policies and procedures.
• Keep the kitchen and work areas clean by washing and cleaning equipment and utensils, and performing other scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Safely operate and assess the condition of food service equipment.
• Perform other duties or assignments as directed by the Dietary Manager.
