Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in the United States seeks a Server for Cinco Ninos American Mexican restaurant to provide friendly, responsive service and deliver a beyond-expectation dining experience. You will work with teammates to maintain a smooth, efficient dining environment and represent our Promise of Lead with Love.

Pay Rate - $2.13/Hr + Tips. Must be at least 18, with 1 year front-of-house knowledge preferred and basic POS/Micros operation skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations, is preferred.
• Ability to operate a Micros terminal, Phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser.
• Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Greet guests, inform them of specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and menu changes.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
• Delivery food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, host/hostess, and management) as situations rise.
