Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is hiring a Server for Double Cut Steakhouse. You will deliver attentive service to guests, ensure accurate and timely dining experiences, and work with teammates to maintain a smooth operation.

Requirements include being 18+, basic food & beverage knowledge, and familiarity with POS systems. Bi-lingual skills are a plus; benefits and growth opportunities are offered to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• General food and beverage knowledge with 1+ year front-of-house experience preferred.
• Ability to operate Micros terminal, Phone system and POS system.
• Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive welcoming, responsive and courteous service at all times.
• Greet guests, inform of specials, provide menu tours and recommend items.
• Take and enter food and beverage orders; relay to kitchen and bar.
• Deliver orders to guests promptly and with proper service trays.
• Assist fellow associates as needed to maintain smooth dining operations.

Server- Double Cut

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aServerfor Double Cut Steakhouse.In this role, you will provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests. To actively participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily.

As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise toLead with Love. You’ll provide attentive, personalized service, ensuring that food and beverage orders are delivered accurately and promptly. You’ll work collaboratively with the team to maintain a smooth workflow and a positive, efficient dining environment.

Pay Rate - $2.13/Hr + Tips

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Greet guests, inform them of specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and menu changes.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
• Delivery food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, host/hostess, and management) as situations rise.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations, is preferred.
• Ability to operate a Micros terminal, Phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser.
• Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.
