Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is hiring a Server at Sortino's Italian Restaurant in the Wisconsin Dells area. You will provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests, while working with a team to maintain a smooth, efficient dining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in front-of-house operations preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling.

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aServerfor Sortino's Italian Restaurant.In this role, you will provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests. To actively participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily.

As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise toLead with Love. You’ll provide attentive, personalized service, ensuring that food and beverage orders are delivered accurately and promptly. You’ll work collaboratively with the team to maintain a smooth workflow and a positive, efficient dining environment.

Pay Rate - $2.13/Hr + Tips

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Greet guests, inform them of specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and menu changes.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
• Delivery food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, host/hostess, and management) as situations rise.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations, is preferred.
• Ability to operate a Micros terminal, Phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser.
• Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.
