Koelsch Communities, operating Canterbury Inn in Longview, Washington, is seeking a personable server to join the Culinary Department. This full-time role includes shifts from 7:00 AM–2:00 PM and 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, with weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Positive interpersonal skills required.
• A food handler's card is required.
• Basic math skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room tables and maintain dining room cleanliness.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Greet residents and families.
• Assist residents in selecting food and beverages by presenting menus and specials.
• Interact with residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner.
• Maintain grooming and presentation standards and a clean uniform.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a personable and attentive server to join our Culinary Department at Canterbury Inn!

Full-time opportunity!

Earn between $17.13 and $18/hour, dependent on experience!

Multiple Shifts! 7AM - 2PM & 11AM - 7:30PM, 5 days/week including weekends and holidays.

Who you are:

You enjoy providing outstanding customer service to residents. This role provides meal service and assists with other front-of-house tasks in the community.

What you'll do:

• Prepare dining room tables and ensure dining room cleanliness
• Protect establishments and residents by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
• Greet residents and families
• Assist residents select food and beverages by presenting menu, making suggestions and explaining chefs’ daily specials
• Interact with residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner
• Adhere to grooming and presentation standards consistently, maintain clean uniform at all times
• Assist with special events as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
