Job description

Flapjack Brewery, located in Berwyn’s historic Depot District just outside Chicago, is currently hiring for a Full-Time/Part-Time Server/Bartender position. We are seeking candidates passionate about hospitality, craft beer, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with Square POS system preferred
• Valid Illinois BASSET Certification
• Knowledge of health codes and sanitation standards
• Knowledge of craft beer and brewing process is a plus
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends
• Ability to work quickly under pressure
• Must be 21+ years old

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests, take orders, and input into POS system
• Check IDs and adhere to alcohol service laws
• Deliver drinks and food promptly and accurately
• Handle transactions and close tabs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service area
• Assist with restocking and team duties
• Perform opening and closing tasks as assigned
• Stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flex between bartender and server roles as needed
• Light cooking duties
