My Neighbor Felix is a pan-Mexican kitchen, a cuisine inspired by all seven regions of Mexico. We’ve created a space, experience, and cuisine that everyone in the neighborhood can love. Our authentic recipes are complemented by our mixologist’s hand-crafted, fresh, and flavorful Mexican signature cocktails and margaritas with an extensive tequila and mezcal selection. Hourly pay: $11.79 + gratuities (tips)
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a high-end restaurant or bar-forward setting is preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
Knowledge of cocktail and beverage service is an advantage.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
Ability to thrive in a high-volume, dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders and payments.
Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid alcohol service certification.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Server Responsibilities:
Greet guests and provide them with menus, explaining any specials or promotions.
Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring special requests or dietary restrictions are noted.
Enter orders into the POS system and communicate them to the kitchen staff in a timely manner.
Serve food and beverages to guests, following proper serving techniques and presentation standards.
Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them regularly, addressing any concerns or requests, and aiding as needed.
Monitor and refill beverages, clear tables, and reset them for the next guests.
Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions.
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and coordinated service.
Follow all health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Assist with cleaning and side work duties as assigned.
