Medure Brothers Culinary Concepts is seeking a Server Assistant to support waitstaff and bartenders in delivering exceptional guest experiences at our Mayo Clinic campus location in Jacksonville, FL. This role emphasizes hospitality, organization, and teamwork to maintain smooth service in a full-service setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a full-service restaurant is preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills are required.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol; Food Handler Certification a plus (within 60 days).

Responsibilities

• Be a brand ambassador and ensure guests have a memorable experience.
• Assist servers and bartenders to provide excellent guest service.
• Run food orders from the kitchen to tables promptly.
• Ensure guests have everything they need and attend to requests.
• Clean and reset tables and maintain a tidy dining area.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations.
• Perform opening, closing and side duties as required.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Medure Brothers Culinary Concepts is a 220-seat, 7,000 square foot upscale-casual restaurant and bar at the Mayo medical center’s Southside campus. The restaurant includes full-service dining plus full-service bar, and coffee shop plus a grab-and-go area. The sit-down restaurant is open both to hospital visitors and the general public.

Our Server Assistants assist servers by performing any tasks necessary to ensure an exceptional customer experience. You are a natural people person who can quickly build rapport with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities, you rely on your excellent organization and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Be a brand ambassador, ensuring each guest has a memorable experience
• Assist waitstaff and bartenders in providing excellent guest service
• Run food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables in a timely manner

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a full service restaurant preferred
• The genuine desire to provide outstanding hospitality to our guests
• Professional, well groomed, and confident with an outgoing personality
• Ability to clearly communicate guests’ needs to other team members
• Hardworking with a positive and upbeat attitude
• Comfortable working with a team
• Be of legal age to serve alcohol
• Food Handler Certification a plus and will be required within 60 days of hire
