White Lodging is seeking a high-energy, organized Server Assistant for Stella Van Buren, an upscale Italian American Steakhouse in Milwaukee. You will support serving staff during lunch and dinner, assist with table maintenance, and help create a seamless fine-dining experience.

• Learn to operate the Host Stand and know menu items.
• Handle opening/closing duties and process payments.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and be an ambassador of the establishment.

We are seeking a high energy, organized, and detail-oriented Server Assistant to join the team at Stella Van Buren — an upscale Italian American Steakhouse located on the 3rd floor of the Westin Milwaukee in downtown Milwaukee, WI. In this guest-facing food and beverage support role, you will provide exceptional support to our serving staff during lunch and dinner service, assist with table maintenance, anticipate guest needs, and contribute to a seamless and memorable fine dining experience. We are looking for candidates who are available to fill both lunch and dinner shifts. Our Server Assistants earn $13/hour plus tips and enjoy advanced scheduling with the flexibility to swap or pick up shifts easily using our app — perfect for achieving better balance while pursuing your passion in the food and beverage industry. What You’ll Do

• Ensure all tables are clean and properly set while assisting the Food Runner as needed
• Work closely and maintain excellent communication with servers; assist with table maintenance, clearing, marking, and beverage delivery
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality, always exhibiting professionalism and friendliness
• Learn to operate the Host Stand
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes, accurately answering any guest questions
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned
• Process all payment methods
• Be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional appearance
• Perform other duties as assigned
